Being honoured by the LIC officials was a small but touching experience to me. I felt good to sense that my true efforts had not gone unnoticed. There was nothing formal in this feeling except warmth, respect, and stimulation.
What struck me most, though, was that it was positive interaction and that there was real acknowledgment. These are the moments when, in your quiet moments, it motivates you about your work, about staying true, about continuing on with sense and purpose.
I left feeling grateful and grounded. This award wasn’t only about gratitude; it’s also about knowing that good work, good work that takes time but that you believe in, will actually find a way.
Such moments stay with you and inspire you to do better, every day.
